UZ-CERT, Uzbekistan Computer Emergency Response Team
UZ-CERT, the first computer emergency response team in Central Asia, was set up at UZINFOCOM Center with the goal to ensure the security of the national computer systems and prevent ICT crimes.
It operates in line with the state policy of regulating the responsibility for ICT offences and within the framework of Uzbekistan’s participation in the international struggle against Internet crimes.
UZ-CERT works in close interaction with similar structures at Uzbekistan’s administrative bodies in gathering and analysing information on computer incidents. It also renders advisory and technical support to users in preventing threats to computer safety.
